Virtual Wine Tasting with The Strong Water Co.
Virtual Wine Tasting with The Strong Water Co - Wines from France, South Africa and Portugal.
Tasting for up to 6 people - from £10 per head!
As many of you may know who've visited our retail shop on Banchory's high street we were working away on a tasting basement before we entered lockdown. We had grand plans to hold various tasting with producers to bring knowledge and expertise in the drinks we sell.
However we all know that events and tastings aren't currently possible, so we've teamed up with TicketCo TV and our wine supplier to bring you the ultimate virtual wine tasting, 3 wines all hosted by the producers/ owners in their vineyards - something which wouldn't be possible in the real world - 3 locations in one tasting.
Join in a casual style of tasting in the comfort of your own home as our friends across the world enjoy their wine with you explaining their journeys and passion for their wonderful products.
Côtes de Provence Rosé Léoube, Château Léoube
Host : Romain Ott (Chief winemaker)
A classic example of why there is the hype surrounding Rosé from the beautifully invigorating Côtes de Provence. A pale, shimmering pink colour - this is a very complete rosé wine, notable for its harmony, freshness, and sheer drinkability. Roman has had a pivotal role in the modern history of this fashionable wine region.
2018 Old Vine Reserve Chenin Blanc, Ken Forrester Wines
Host: Ken Forrester (Winemaker & Proprietor)
Ken is the king of Chenin in South Africa and this wine is the quintessential example of why Chenin is a grape to be revered. Deceptively drinkable on its own - this wine comes alive with a wide variety of food. A wine that can be drunk now or kept for as long as you dare.
2018 Douro Red, Quinta do Crasto
Host: Miguel Roquette - Owner
Quinta do Crasto is rare in Douro (the home of Port wine) as a producer perhaps more known for its regular nonport wine. This the wine that helped Miguel and his family and the Douro region as a whole for making extremely high-quality red wines. Made from native grape varieties this is a very satisfying wine.
With this being a virtual tasting it is open to both local and national delivery with two simple ticket pricing. One for local delivery within our usual local delivery terms and one for national delivery within the UK.
